Now in its third year, DemEd Global continues to equip practitioners, students, and community leaders with the legal, policy, and governance tools needed to advance sustainability and justice. Our learners go on to drive law and policy processes, strengthen community capacity through teaching and advocacy, and take on new research and leadership opportunities across more than 170 countries. Through accessible, world-class education — and a global network committed to equity and inclusion — we are helping to build the next generation of leaders shaping fair, effective, and future-ready governance systems. 

DemEd Global’s Impact Report

In January 2026, DemEd Global released its first-ever Impact Report, marking a major milestone in the programme’s mission to democratise access to world-class education in sustainability, law, and public policy. Based on an Impact Survey (n=442) conducted in July-Sept 2025, the report finds that:

• • 67.2% of learners have engaged in law and policy change processes after completing DemEd Global courses

• • 84.2% have taught, advised, supported, or represented others, creating powerful multiplier effects in their communities

• • 83.7% have pursued further study or research, strengthening long-term capacity in sustainability governance

• • 44.8% have joined new organisations or taken up new roles, often in climate, development, and public policy fields
