Dennis Amata, B.Sc. International Law and Diplomacy (Babcock University), MPhil Development Studies (Cantab), is a research and programme Assistant with the Democratising Education for Global Sustainability and Justice Programme at Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge.Dennis is also a recipient of the Centre for Development Studies African Scholarship.

He has expertise in research, data sourcing and analysis, and article writing.

During his MPhil programme, Dennis served as Class Representative and also as Secretary of the Cambridge Society for Social and Economic Development (CAMSED), an initiative by postgraduate students at the Centre of Development Studies, promoting academic discussions on research and policies related to social and economic development from a multidisciplinary perspective. Previously, Dennis worked at Dataphyte, a media research and data analytics organisation in Nigeria, where he facilitated access to election data and provided insights into electoral politics and other socio-economic issues. He also served as a Research and Administrative Assistant at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). His research interests include elections, social movements, conflict, and climate change.
