Dr Pamela Towela Sambo, PhD (University of Manchester), LLM (University of KwaZulu-Natal), LLB (University of Zambia), AHCZ, is a distinguished legal scholar specializing in environmental justice, environmental impact assessments, and human rights. With over seventeen years of experience in Zambian law practice and research, she has made significant contributions to the fields of environmental law and sustainable development. Her research focuses on cross-cutting environmental issues, climate justice, and the legal frameworks that support sustainable development.

Dr Sambo currently serves as the Head of the Private Law Department and is the immediate past Assistant Dean (Undergraduate). Her teaching and research interests span multiple areas, including the law of torts, legal research methodology, human rights, and environmental law. Through her academic leadership, she continues to influence legal education and policy development in Zambia and beyond. Her work bridges the gap between law, environmental governance, and human rights, making her a key voice in the discourse on environmental justice and sustainable development.
