Adv. Wayne D. Garnons-Williams, BA, LLB, MPA, LLM is the Founding President of the International Inter-tribal Trade and Investment organisation, Senior Lawyer and Principal Director of Garwill Law Professional Corporation, and leads Indigenous Sovereign Trade Consultancy Ltd., specialising in Tribal Trade and Sustainable Economic Development. He is a Research Fellow in International Comparative Indigenous Law at the University of Oklahoma and has expertise in international Indigenous law, Indigenous entrepreneurialism, Aboriginal relations, and global peace and governance.

With a distinguished career spanning law, policy, and Indigenous advocacy, Adv. Garnons-Williams has held prominent roles such as Past Chair of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations Appeal Tribunal and serves on the boards of the International Law Association (Canada), Council of the Great Lakes Region, Capacity Canada, and as Board Chair of the 60s Scoop Healing Foundation. He is also a member of the CUSMA Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes.

Adv. Garnons-Williams has authored chapters in a Cambridge University Press textbook on International Indigenous Trade & Environmental Law and teaches at the University of Waterloo. He is the recipient of the 2019 Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business Award for Excellence in Aboriginal Relations and the 2020 Centre for International Sustainable Development Law Award for Peace, Justice, and Governance.
